We Buy DIY - Cuyler Hovey-King Jewelry

ICE Summer 2012 - 1222
I have loved Cuyler Hovey-King's jewelry for a long time now. The first piece I ever owned of her was given to me as a gift from Raoul - it was the Tiny Chair necklace that he bought at ICE Atlanta many years ago. I think it was meant to be a Christmas present, but he gave it to me that day! I love it so much!

ICE Summer 2012 - 1219
We visited Cuyler's table at ICE Atlanta each year ever since. So I have been collecting her jewelry for some time, and I truly love each piece. I am a huge fan of miniatures (that sounds funny to say!), so her work is no exception. I also love sterling silver, I just feel like it is more my "thing" than gold.

Cuyler works in metals, but also uses vintage jewelry in her designs, too.

And adorable vintage props at her table!

Tiny chair necklace.
So, what jewelry do I have in my own collection? Well, like I said, I have the little chair charm, and I get compliments on it when I wear it! I wear this one all the time.

Bunny charm bracelet.
Usually I do not wear bracelets, but this one is an exception, and maybe after wearing this I will wear more of them. I am at the computer at work, so they sometimes can get in the way, but I wear this one, and it is no problem at all. I love this bunny, even though it is a bit strange for it to not have a face! This is made from a vintage candy mold.

Bunny ring.
Here is my bunny ring, too. Yes, another bunny! You know I can't get enough...

And of course I had to have the matching bunny necklace charm. Bunny solidarity! Or else maybe I qualify as a "crazy bunny lady" now. You can check out Cuyler Hovey-King Jewelry on Etsy, or check out her blog, too!

We Buy DIY: ICE Goodies

Here are the goodies I got from my visit to ICE Atlanta craft market! I hope you like everything as much as I do!

My cute ring by Fernworks. It is a miniature nest complete with bird eggs! I can't wait to have baby birds.
This is my cute ring by Faryn Davis of Fernworks. I will tell you, it was hard to choose from Faryn's beautiful works of art! Raoul helped me decide on this ring - it looks like a perfect miniature birds nest inside. Imagine when my eggs hatch and there are cute miniature birds hopping around! I can't wait...

These earrings by @cameoko are so cute. I love them.
Here are some cute little fabric covered button earrings that are hedgehogs. I love woodland hedgehogs, and these are super cute. These are from Cameoko.

Look at this adorable wishing well feed sack fabric I got at ICE today!
This vintage fabric is from a booth from Vintage Row. I do not remember what their booth was called. I do know they had really amazing vintage fabrics and notions. I hope to sew a skirt from this cute wishing well patterned fabric.

Needle felted forest kit.
Here is a kit to make three miniature needle felted trees. I can't wait to make this forest! I got this from the Atlanta Institute of Stitches and Craft.

Baby bunny charm that I love - thank you @cuylerhk !
This lovely silver bunny charm was made by one of my favorite jewelry designers, Cuyler Hovey King. I look at her table every time I am at ICE, and each time I see something new that I must have. I love bunnies, so I love this charm. It reminds me of Oreo and Jumbles!

And I love wearing it, too!

We Buy DIY: Oceanity Handmade

Handmade pin I got this weekend.
When we had our table at Raindrop a few weeks ago, I picked up some really neat stuff from Michelle of Oceanity Handmade. Michelle makes really lovely fabric brooches, bow barrettes, sewn ribbons, and much more. I chose this pin, made from vintage Girl Scouts fabric and felt. This is the Pen Pal pin! I love it because I had so many pen pals when I was in high school and college. Hey, it was before the internet... I might have to get the other Pen Pal, so she can have someone to write to.

Vintage book.
I also chose a vintage children's book to add to my collection. This one has some really cute illustrations inside - so inspiring!

Children of the Nineties.
The book is called Children of the Nineties, and I know you are thinking they might be into "grunge music" maybe, but no, my friends, they are from the 1890's!

Cute art in my book.
