Weekend Wind-Down #143
Missy's parents were in town for Easter and they helped us do some SPRING CLEANING in our front and back yards...fallen limbs were chainsawed, weeds were wacked, and plants and flowers were added to newly refreshed beds. Even though we went through many many many bags of MULCH, we are just getting started...
Next to our driveway, we have this little wall and trellis...we put mulch down in front of it to keep weeds at bay, but it looks a little skimpy, so we'll probably lay down even more of it...we also want to put mulch down on the path on the side of our house leading to our backyard gates. That's A LOT more mulch that we're gonna have to get. We held on to these old cabinet doors that we took out during our livingroom renovation, in the hopes that we would think of some way to upcycle them. I think Missy is going to paint "WOODLAND SCENERY" on them (little forest critters frolicking in the flora) and we were going to set them up against the chain link fence by our backyard entrance...
